Aswan Governorate is working on many projects that deal with climate change, and the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources has received a great deal of support from them, such as the project to enhance climate resilience and food security through raising the standard of living and rural innovation. This project is affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Land Reclamation, and has provided the faculty with a modern irrigation network with its components and installations for an area of 7 acres on the faculty’s educational farm in Sahara, including three modern irrigation systems; narrow drip irrigation that suits crops and vegetables, wide drip irrigation to suit tree cultivation, in addition to sprinkler irrigation. It has a fertilization system with irrigation water for each plot, with the possibility of determining the water quotas required for each plot.
