The Faculty seeks excellence in preparing a generation of specialists in the fields of laboratories and laboratories in all its practical and specialized departments to continue research, innovation and good principles, which are among the most important values that the college graduates need in their dealings with those they serve in the future.
The Laboratory Committee relies on the availability of advanced academic means in education and scientific curricula to improve educational outcomes, as well as the use of the latest methods in laboratory training in accordance with the achievement of the Faculty’s vision, mission and goals, at the hands of a group of qualified faculty members.
Safety and security rules in the laboratory:
1- The laboratory space must be commensurate with the number of researchers and students in order to allow them freedom of movement.
2- There must be two doors in the laboratory hall for entry and exit, and the direction of opening the doors should be outside.
3- Providing windows with fire-resistant curtains and movable protection bars.
4- Equipping laboratories with natural and artificial lighting and ventilation and following up the periodic maintenance of such equipment.
5- Laboratory floors, sinks and tables must be of chemical and fire resistant types.
6- A gas cabinet must be provided to be used when preparing or using volatile materials or dangerous or foul-smelling gases.
7- The laboratory should be equipped with comfortable, easy-to-move chairs that can be controlled in height.
8- Laboratories must be equipped with a sufficient number of electrical points with covers.
9- Laboratories should be equipped with a gas and electricity system, and a control switch should be placed in a visible place that can be easily accessed in case of emergency.
10- Each laboratory shall be provided with a room for storing tools and equipment.
