The objectives of the program are in line with the objectives of the college through the following:

- Providing the student with the basic concepts related to preserving the environmental environment and its components from the various agricultural natural resources (soil – water – plant) from deterioration and pollution in order to preserve its production capacity and to raise the efficiency of its uses for its independence, the optimal administrative and economic independence, which contributes to the development and development of the agricultural sector and its production capabilities in the state in general .
- Keeping pace with development plans and expansion in the reclamation of desert lands in the Upper Egypt region, which require skills specific to the old lands.
- Raising the quality of old and newly reclaimed lands and maintaining soil health.
- Maximizing the return from the land and water unit, with a focus on rationalizing water use and preventing land and water pollution.
- Investing information technology in order to develop education, research and community service.
- Implementing a quality assurance program to improve performance rates in education, research and community service to achieve academic accreditation.
- Qualifying the graduate for self-education and leadership of work teams.
