The Council of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources held its 137th regular meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Presided over by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abu El-Leil, Dean of the Faculty, the meeting was attended by vice-deans, department heads, and council members. During the session, the Council discussed several important matters concerning the Faculty's educational and research activities, most notably: – Approval of the results for the third semester (summer term) of the 2025/2026 academic year. – Review of lecture schedules for the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year (undergraduate level). – Formation of oral qualifying examination committees for postgraduate students. – Formation of supervision committees for postgraduate students. – Assessment of the readiness of lecture halls, classrooms, and laboratories for the start of the academic term. * The meeting also addressed various matters regarding faculty members, their assistants, and community service initiatives. Within the framework of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources’ commitment to continuous interaction with its postgraduate students, the first meeting of the academic year 2025/2026 was held in the attendance of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abu El-Leil, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Prof. Wael Fathi Al-Qatt, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, coinciding with the commencement of his duties as Vice Dean. The first semester exams for the academic year 2025/2026 at the College of Agriculture and Natural Resources have begun in an organized atmosphere, amidst intensive preparations by the college administration to ensure a suitable environment for students to take the exams. Professor Dr. Loay Saad El-Din Nusrat, the University President, conducted an inspection tour inside the examination committees to ensure the smooth running of the work and the discipline of the committees.
