The Council of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources held its 137th regular meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Presided over by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abu El-Leil, Dean of the Faculty, the meeting was attended by vice-deans, department heads, and council members. During the session, the Council discussed several important matters concerning the Faculty’s educational and research activities, most notably:
– Approval of the results for the third semester (summer term) of the 2025/2026 academic year.
– Review of lecture schedules for the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year (undergraduate level).
– Formation of oral qualifying examination committees for postgraduate students.
– Formation of supervision committees for postgraduate students.
– Assessment of the readiness of lecture halls, classrooms, and laboratories for the start of the academic term.
* The meeting also addressed various matters regarding faculty members, their assistants, and community service initiatives. This session reflects the Faculty’s commitment to ensuring the smooth conduct of academic operations and maintaining the quality of educational and research outcomes.
