Within the framework of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources’ commitment to continuous interaction with its postgraduate students, the first meeting of the academic year 2025/2026 was held in the attendance of Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abu El-Leil, Dean of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources, and Prof. Wael Fathi Al-Qatt, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research, coinciding with the commencement of his duties as Vice Dean.
During the meeting, the Dean and Vice Dean welcomed the students, emphasising the faculty’s commitment to supporting postgraduate studies and scientific research, as well as working to overcome any obstacles that students may face. This, in turn, contributes to enhancing the academic and research standards of the faculty. The meeting was also attended by Prof. Hassan Hafez Tarbai, Head of the Department of Agricultural Engineering and Biosystems at the Faculty.
The meeting discussed several important issues, including encouraging international scientific publication in prestigious international journals, supporting researchers’ participation in research missions, and urging postgraduate students to pursue innovative research topics that keep pace with contemporary scientific challenges and contribute to community service and sustainable development.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the importance of continuing to hold such regular meetings was emphasised, given their effective role in strengthening communication between the faculty administration and postgraduate students and in supporting scientific research within the faculty.
