Youth Care and the Students for Egypt Family at the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources – Aswan University organized the student orientation forum for the academic year 2024-2025 to welcome new and old students.
Prof. Saad El-Din Nasrat, President of the University, Prof. Yasser Abdel Hamid Diab, Dean of the Faculty, Prof. Hussein Adam, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Education and Student Affairs, Prof. Mohamed Ahmed Abu El-Leil, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Graduate Studies and Research and Pioneer of the Students for Egypt Family at the Faculty.
This was in the presence of Prof. Ahmed Ismail Damrani, Vice Dean of the Faculty for Community Service and Environmental Development Affairs, heads of departments, faculty members, assistant staff and students of the Faculty.
The orientation day was opened by reciting some verses from the Holy Quran, then standing in salute to the Egyptian flag, followed by a speech by the President of the University and the Dean of the Faculty. Dr. Mohamed Tawfik gave a presentation on the glorious October War epic and the lessons learned from it, planning and exploiting available opportunities to achieve success. Prof. Ahmed Salah gave an explanation of the academic programs and the study system at the college and helping and guiding students so that they can make the right decision in choosing their specialization. As the university seeks to care for new students, Prof. Louay Saad Nasrat, President of the University, and Prof. Yasser Abdel Hamid Diab, Dean of the Faculty, confirmed that they are fully prepared to hear complaints or suggestions from students or any assistance, wishing them success. This comes through an important speech by the President of the University on the importance of learning and serious study, job opportunities and scholarships provided from abroad, and opening new labor markets for students. He also stressed the state’s interest in the agricultural sector in all its specializations in order to raise the level of self-sufficiency in the country
