The Council of the Faculty of Agriculture and Natural Resources held its 137th regular meeting on Wednesday, September 16, 2026. Presided over by Prof. Dr. Mohamed Ahmed Abu El-Leil, Dean of the Faculty, the meeting was attended by vice-deans, department heads, and council members. During the session, the Council discussed several important matters concerning the Faculty's educational and research activities, most notably: – Approval of the results for the third semester (summer term) of the 2025/2026 academic year. – Review of lecture schedules for the first semester of the 2026/2027 academic year (undergraduate level). – Formation of oral qualifying examination committees for postgraduate students. – Formation of supervision committees for postgraduate students. – Assessment of the readiness of lecture halls, classrooms, and laboratories for the start of the academic term. * The meeting also addressed various matters regarding faculty members, their assistants, and community service initiatives.
