Conditions of granting the academic degrees of postgraduate programs<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0First: Research master degree:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

The following conditions are required to grant the research master degree:<\/span><\/p>\n

    \n
  1. Two years at least since the date of enrollment should elapse, whereas the student continues studying and research during his study period.<\/span><\/li>\n
  2. The student must submit ICDL certificate or the European license ECDL from one of the accredited centers before forming the governance committee.<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. The student must submit a certificate of passing English language exam or its equivalent by no less than 400 point from one of language qualifying centers approved by the faculty’s council and the university’s council, before forming the governance committee.<\/span><\/li>\n
  4. The student must submit whatever indicates to publish or approve of at least one research in accredited scientific magazine or recognized scientific conference before forming the governance committee.<\/span><\/li>\n
  5. The student must have conducted a research on a topic approved by the faculty’s council upon a proposal from the relevant department’s council.<\/span><\/li>\n
  6. The student must pass the mandated academic curriculums with the condition that the G.P.A no less than A.<\/span><\/li>\n
  7. The student must submit a presentation of the outcomes of his researches in a seminar attended by the department’s teaching staff before forming the governance committee.<\/span><\/li>\n
  8. After accepting the thesis from the governance committee and making the required adjustments, the student must submit six copies of the thesis approved by the governance committee.<\/span><\/li>\n
  9. The student submits a C.D of the whole thesis in its final version approved by the governance committee to keep in the faculty’s library.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Second: PH.D:\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span> <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

    The following conditions are required to grant Doctor of philosophy in agricultural sciences:<\/span><\/p>\n

      \n
    1. Three years at least since the date of enrollment should have elapsed, whereas the student continues studying and research during his study period.<\/span><\/li>\n
    2. The student must submit a certificate of passing English language exam by no less than 500 point or passing any other foreign language from one of language qualifying centers approved by the faculty’s council and the university’s council.<\/span><\/li>\n
    3. The student must submit whatever indicates to publish or approve of at least two researches in accredited scientific magazine or recognized scientific conference before forming the governance committee.<\/span><\/li>\n
    4. The student should \u00a0have conducted a research or more on an innovative topic approved by the faculty’s council based on a proposal from the council of the relevant department.<\/span><\/li>\n
    5. The student must pass the mandated academic curriculum by at least a B \u00a0<\/span><\/li>\n
    6. The student must pass the comprehensive qualifying examination.<\/span><\/li>\n
    7. After passing the qualifying examination, the student has to present the results of his researches in a seminar for the department teaching staff before forming the governance committee.<\/span><\/li>\n
    8. After accepting the thesis by the governance committee and made the necessary adjustments, the student has to submit six copies of the thesis approved by the governance committee.<\/span><\/li>\n
    9. The student submits a CD of the thesis in its final version approved by the governance committee to be kept in the faculty’s library.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

       <\/p>\n

      Third: professional master degree:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

      The following conditions are required to grant the professional master degree in agricultural sciences:<\/span><\/p>\n

        \n
      1. Two years at least since the date of enrollment should elapse, whereas the student continues studying and research during his study period.<\/span><\/li>\n
      2. To obtain the professional master’s degree, the student has to pass the curriculums he is registered in with at least C grade. The general assessment calculated on the basis of GPA with indication to study specialty and the grad in the certificate.<\/span><\/li>\n
      3. Complete and pass the research project.<\/span><\/li>\n
      4. After accepting the thesis by the governance committee and made the necessary adjustments, the student has to submit six copies of the research project approved by the governance committee<\/span><\/li>\n
      5. The student submits a CD of the research project in its final version approved by the governance committee to be kept in the faculty’s library.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n
