Believing in strengthening and developing its interaction with the community through community services and environmental development, the college devotes all its capabilities to serving the environment by holding seminars and community activities, providing consultations in all agricultural fields, and participating in many internal and external projects and research work that serve the Egyptian community in general. general and the Aswan community in particular.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Services provided by the departments to serve the community:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Horticulture department:<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\nProviding courses in the design, coordination and maintenance of gardens<\/span><\/strong>
\nProviding courses in the production of medicinal and aromatic plants<\/span><\/strong>
\nOffering courses in grape production<\/span><\/strong>
\nProviding courses in palm production under the conditions of Upper Egypt<\/span><\/strong>
\nOffering courses in protected agriculture<\/span><\/strong>
\nProviding courses in the establishment and management of nurseries<\/span><\/strong>
\nEstablishment of ornamental, vegetable and fruit nurseries<\/span><\/strong>
\nVegetable production in greenhouses<\/span><\/strong>
\nConsultations in the field of medicinal and aromatic plants production<\/span><\/strong>
\nConsultations in the field of vegetable production and protected agriculture<\/span><\/strong>
\nConsulting in the field of fruit production<\/span><\/strong>
\nParticipation in European Union projects<\/span><\/strong>
\nGenetics<\/b><\/span><\/span>:\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/span><\/span><\/span>
\nCarrying out applied projects funded by various parties that serve and address production and environmental issues. \u2013 Carrying out training courses in the field of genetics and genetic engineering. \u2013 Conducting applied research that serves agricultural production and studying problems related to the environment and trying to find appropriate solutions to them. \u2013 Providing genetic counseling in the disciplines of genetics. different sectors in order to serve the sectors of production and services, promote agricultural production and preserve the environment.<\/span><\/strong>
\nParticipation of the faculty members in the department with their research in many local, regional and international conferences that address issues related to production and environmental service.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Dairy science and technology:<\/span><\/strong><\/span>
\n1- Holding some specialized training courses in the field of dairy products manufacturing within the framework of the transformational training program for some graduates.<\/span><\/strong>
\n2- The department, in cooperation with the Environmental Affairs and Community Service Sector, implements a number of training courses for the manufacture of dairy products for workers in various government departments.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

3- Providing some technical advice to the people working in the field of dairy science and technology<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

4- The department adopts conducting applied scientific research in the field of dairy technology in partnership with other scientific departments that serve the Egyptian society in general and the Aswan society in particular.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

Department of Natural and Agricultural Resources:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

In the field of community service, the Department of Land and Natural Resources provides technical support and scientific consultations to farmers, producers and companies operating in the agricultural production sector in the field of land reclamation, plant nutrition, assessment of water suitability for irrigation, bio-fertilization, recycling of agricultural waste and organic farming through the land and water lab to serve investment and development projects. The department also welcomes In cooperation with various research bodies from various sectors and ministries – universities – research centers – consumers and farmers in the fields of land. The laboratory services are represented in soil tests and sample analysis – fertilizer tests – water tests – plant tests – soil microbiology tests.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

As for the field of training, providing special training programs to develop the skills and capabilities of specialists in the following areas:<\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
