The Department of Agricultural Microbiology focuses on teaching students the fundamental concepts of microbiology, as well as the practical role of microbes in waste recycling, the treatment of environmental pollution and environmental conservation, and the role of biotechnology in the production of fertilisers and biological pesticides.
